From a very early age, friends and family asked Danny Spungen, "why do you collect so many different things?" He could only reply, "it just happened that way."In more recent years as a significant amount of time and money shifted towards collecting with an added "twist" of investing, friends and family just could not stop asking, "why?"
The answer was simply, "Why Not!" We suspect most people have a passion for collecting "something."
In Danny's case he has taken collecting to a higher level of enjoyment (while some of his friends have done the same in their quest to lower their golf handicap)!!
As a youngster, Danny collected a variety of items including rocks, minerals, ball bearings, cameras, lots of photographs, old family documents, baseball cards, stamps and coins.
From 1977 to 1982, Danny sold stamps and coins for Minkus Publishing (NY) at their concessions in the Skokie and Chicago Illinois Marshall Field's department stores. Those great days led him to where he is Today!
As Danny's father did with him, in an effort to generate more quality time with his son (and teach some business skills), this website was conceived in January 2007. Throughout 2007 & 2008 we have been gathering materials to make your future visits a great adventure. We're also very happy to say that we met some great people along the way!!!
