State Quarters - Varieties and errors is the next step!
The new USA Quarters program was in our opinion the best marketing campaign to benefit coin collecting in the past 25 years! Congratulations to whomever pushed this through Congress! The number of new collectors as a direct result of the State Quarters must be tremendous.
If only a small percentage of these collectors get serious about their State Quarters, they are going to want to complete their collection with the varieties that exist.
Specifically, we like the Wisconsin “High Leaf” and “Low Leaf” varieties. The leaf varieties are easy for collectors to identify. We have seen several good articles regarding the estimated population of the varieties which has created a good foundation of price stability. Currently the pricing is "reasonable" and can attract the avid collectors who want to take the next step in generating a complete State Quarters collection.
